Max is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher based currently out of San Francisco. He holds a Master in Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and a B.A. with a double major in architectural studies and art from University of California Los Angeles
Max has worked as a project architect at Höweler + Yoon architecture, product designer with E-one timepieces, and researcher with Rem Koolhaas / OMA and Skidmore, Owings & Merill Foundation.
Max is a designer of digital and physical structures. His work traverses different scales and disciplinary boundaries. He has worked on architectural projects ranging in size from large-scale cultural buildings to residential houses and art installations, and has developed products in both digital and physical form, viewing design as tool to bridge between software and the hardware of our built environments.
His work focuses on the intersection between digital and physical space and has been heavily influenced by the topics of transportation infrastructure and office design, driven by research into changing patterns of mobility and emerging cultures of work.
